Justin Bieber handed cease-and-desist letter by French duo

Justin Bieber was hit with a cease-and-desist letter by the French electronic music duo Justice, consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, over the use of a letter in the name of his latest album.

Bieber’s cover art for his sixth studio album, also titled ‘Justice’, features the lowercase ‘t’ rendered as a cross, as the group have used in their art for years. As their letter points out, they had trademarked the font, referred to as the “Mark”, in France, in 2008.
