Man arrested for string of crimes

A 28-year-old man has been arrested in Paphos in connection with a kiosk robbery, burglary and theft, police said Thursday.

According to Paphos CID chief and spokesman Michalis Nicolaou, evidence emerged linking the suspect to the kiosk robbery that took place in Chlorakas on March 12, two burglaries and thefts from houses which were committed between March 10 and 15, and a vehicle theft on March 10.

He added that the man was arrested on Wednesday and was charged in writing for the four cases. He is being held in custody at the central prison, Nicolaou added.
