A two-day festival is dedicated to science lovers

scyence fair

Celebrating science is what the upcoming sCYence Fair 2022 on Friday and Saturday is about and it invites students, professionals and science lovers to get together. Held at Skali Aglantzias in Nicosia, the fair will lead interactive experiments and activities and a decathlon while also welcoming distinguished scientists.

In an effort to engage youth in science, the fair will host aspiring students who will compete for the most interesting scientific experiments and projects. The Decathlon part of the fair will be open to old and young to discover 10 interactive physics experiments. Also joining sCYence 2022 are scientists from The Cyprus Institute who will share their work with the public through more interactive activities.

This year, with an updated agenda in this third edition, the science festival takes place with the participation of students from elementary, high schools and lyceums, as it aims to highlight Science and Technology through fun, innovative and entertaining ways.

Within the framework of the festival, the Cyprus Institute will also host the 13th Pancyprian Student Conference SEMEP Unesco on Ecology research methods for innovative approaches to STEM teaching and robotics, aimed at conserving ecosystems and the limitation of climate change. All that across two days and free entrance for all.
