Limassol police have arrested a 27-year-old suspect for a stabbing at a construction site, ending the manhunt which was earlier underway.

Local media reported that the suspect was found in his apartment residence without making further attempts to escape.

The suspect appears to have stabbed the overseer of the construction site after a disagreement over salary payments.

The 35-year-old victim was taken to Limassol hospital where doctors deemed him to be out of danger.
