Small tremor felt in Limassol

A small earthquake measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale occurred in the eastern Akrotiri area at 9:17 on Sunday morning.

The department of geological surveys, with a post on Twitter stated: “This morning, at 9:17 local time, some residents of the city of Limassol felt a micro-earthquake of magnitude 2.7, with a focal depth of 10km and the epicentre in the eastern Akrotiri area, 7km south of the city of Limassol”.
