Five in custody for illegal stay

Police in Paphos on Saturday arrested and took into custody five persons for illegal stay in the Republic.

According to police spokesman, Michalis Nikolaou, members of the crime prevention unit in coordinated operations carried out in two apartment complexes identified and arrested the illegal migrants. 

Nikolaou said that deportation procedures are underway for all those arrested.
