Protaras hosts fish festival

WITH the title “… kai gia psari, pame Protara” (Let’s go to Protaras for fish) the second Protaras fish festival, taking place tomorrow, promises an unforgettable experience, according to the organisers.

The second annual festival will offer visitors the opportunity to discover new seafood recipes presented by Chef Christos Christodoulou.

They will also be able to sample fresh fish and taste traditional Cypriot dishes.

The folk group ‘Para ti Limni’ will perform traditional music and dances.

The organisers, Paralimni municipality and the Larnaca district development agency (ANETEL), said that last year the festival had 7,000 visitors.

The festival, which will start at 7pm, will take place in the municipal square in front of Odessa hotel in Protaras. Entrance is free.
