Free WiFi and greenery in Pallouriotissa Park

AFTER an investment of €80,000 and five months of work, telecommunications company MTN has transformed a park in Pallouriotissa, Nicosia, into a modern outdoor space.

As part of the company’s social programme, the park has been redesigned to combine comfort with modern technology. It contains abundant greenery, pathways and a brand new playground, and also provides free access to the fast network MTN WiFi. The park now welcomes families and athletes alike looking for a cool place to have fun and relax.

“I am very happy because, after coordinated efforts and the cooperation of players in the region, we have created an exemplary public recreation area, renovated entirely at our own expense. We will continue to offer programmes to society which have a real impact on people’s lives,” said MTN CEO Philip Van Dalson.
