Today’s weather: Sunny morning, mountain showers

On Tuesday the weather will be mostly sunny with afternoon clouds expected to bring isolated mountain rains. Winds will be mainly south-westerly to north-westerly, light to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort turning to strong on the south coast, up to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be rough. Temperatures will rise to 34C in the interior, 28C on the west and south-west coasts, 30C on the remaining coasts and 24C in the higher mountains.

Overnight the weather will be mostly clear with some low clouds mainly in the west and north. Winds will be mainly south-westerly to north-westerly, initially light to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort and later abating to light, 3 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become calm to a slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to 18C in the interior and on the north coast, 20C on the remaining coasts and 15C in the higher mountains.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be mostly clear with will be locally increased clouds in the afternoon on Wednesday expected to bring isolated mountain rains.

Temperatures are expected to rise slightly through Friday, hovering slightly above average for the season.
