The distress-free way to brush a long-haired dog

Every pet deserves a loving and respectful home: please only consider acquiring a pet if you will be able to take care of its long-term needs. Also, consider choosing your animal companion from a shelter, where there are so many wonderful furry friends who need a forever home.

Long-haired dogs can be more difficult to brush than their short-hair counterparts, as we need to remove and avoid tricky knots and tangles. This means we need to use the right brush to remove dirt and dead hair.

This video demonstrates the benefits that brushing a long-haired dog correctly can bring to both dog and human, as well as what to do to avoid hurting or distressing your furry companion in the process.
