Paphos Police HQ

Two Paphos special constables have been released from custody after being charged with various offences on social media that involved threats against the city’s police chief.

The alleged offences in both cases were committed between April 2019 and August 2021.
Initially, the Police had arrested a 55-year-old man at Larnaca airport, against whom warrants were pending for sending threatening text messages to the Paphos chief He then implicated the other two as his accomplices.
