Limassol Marina is celebrating recent accolades received at the Cyprus Construction Awards 2021.

The Awards recognise innovation in engineering, architecture, and design, rewarding the top innovators and most prestigious projects in these categories. At this year’s ceremony, Limassol Marina captured three top awards, thanks to outstanding achievements in key categories, notably “Silver” for “Best F&B Premises”; “Silver” for “Best Residential Apartment Block/Building” for the recently completed Castle Residences; “Gold” for “Coastal and Marine Structures” across the project in its entirety.

The accolades acknowledge Limassol Marina’s distinguished and innovative engineering, construction, architectural style and design ingenuity. The unique mixed-use development combines a superyacht marina with residential, commercial, recreational and cultural facilities, as part of a masterplan offering unrivalled services and facilities, not only to its own community but also, thanks to its proximity, to the city centre, too.

Having established itself as a sought-after, state-of-the-art destination for worldwide visitors, Limassol Marina has transformed the island and enriched Cyprus’ tourism product. The “Silver” award for “Best F&B Premises” exemplifies the Marina’s exceptional level of dining, offering guests panoramic views of the development and the Mediterranean, access to ample parking, and a unique gastronomic experience on the sea, across 14 restaurants, lounge bars and cafés.

Meanwhile, the recent completion and delivery of the Marina’s Castle Residences – Cyprus’ only properties built on the sea – signifies the end of the project’s final phase. The luxurious apartment complex, accessed by a private bridge and recipient of the “Silver” award for “Best Residential Apartment Block/Building”, is surrounded by the waves, offering unobstructed panoramic views of the Marina, the city of Limassol and the Mediterranean. The complex includes 61 two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments and maisonettes, with covered and uncovered terraces or sundecks. It is the only Cyprus development offering a unique “living on the sea” lifestyle, with its ready-to-move-in apartments and villas delivering the essence of luxury marina living.

As for the “Gold” Award for “Coastal and Marine Structures” – the kudos recognises the Marina’s drive to implement innovative best practices and technologies into its operations, be it via enhanced service levels, stringent health and safety regulations, or increased initiatives to mitigate environmental and marine impact. The award also salutes the Marina’s exceptional offering to residents, visitors and boat owners, thanks to highest-quality services, top amenities, exciting retail, leisure and dining options, and advanced berthing facilities.

As the island’s first superyacht marina to garner the Blue Flag and 5 Gold Anchor Platinum Awards – the highest distinctions for exceptional, global marinas – the development can be justifiably proud of its status as a world-class yachting destination. Its brand of quality has also enriched the region’s touristic appeal and Cyprus’ overall holiday allure, while contributing to Limassol’s and the island’s financial, social and cultural development.
