Armed robbery at Chlorakas kiosk

Paphos police are investigating a case of armed robbery at a kiosk in Chloraka which happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

According to the police statement, around 4:00 am on Tuesday an unknown man whose face was hidden with a surgical mask and the hood of his sweatshirt, entered a kiosk located on Archbishop Makarios Avenue in Chloraka and threatened the 41-year-old employee with a pistol or revolver. It is undetermined whether the weapon was real or fake. After instructing her in English to leave the cash register open, the thief withdrew approximately €100-200 and left.

Police were called and arrived at the scene to gathered evidence for ongoing investigation.
