Man banned from entering stadiums for six months

A 23-year-old man who was found guilty of possessing dangerous objects during a football match was banned from stadiums for six months.

Larnaca district court also imposed a €600 fine on the young man, who will be obliged to present himself to a police station 30 minutes before the start of his football team’s matches and leave 30 minutes after the end of the match.

The man was found guilty of possession of dangerous objects during the Anorthosi – Apollon football match on October 10, 2022 at the Antonis Papadopoulos stadium in Larnaca.
