Car arson in Limassol under investigation

Limassol police and the fire service responded to a car fire which broke out in the early morning hours on Tuesday.

According to police statement, the fire was set to the car maliciously at 3.40am while it was parked in the Omonia area, outside the 57-year-old’s owner’s house. The car was reported as used exclusively by the man’s 25-year-old son.

The vehicle was completely destroyed.

The case is under ongoing investigation.
