Old Nicosia to host OPAP 3×3 grand finale this weekend

This year’s OPAP Cyprus 3×3 2022 tournament will culminate with showdowns at the D’Avila Moat in Old Nicosia over September 2-4. OPAP Nicosia 3×3 2022 organisers are 3on3 Cyprus LTD, in collaboration with the Nicosia Municipality and the Cyprus Basketball Federation.

The fifth and final event in this year’s line-up, OPAP Nicosia 3×3 is the second newcomer to the tournament, after Larnaca, and everyone is anticipating a grand finale worthy of the earlier legs of the competition, thanks to the capital’s public’s enthusiasm.

As with all OPAP Cyprus 3×3 events, OPAP Nicosia 3×3 is on the official FIBA 3×3 calendar for 2022, with the aim of continuously upgrading and developing this sports offering. And as we countdown to the kick-off matches this Friday, September 2, final preparations for Nicosia’s inaugural event are taking place in an atmosphere of cooperation and excitement.

Games taking place on Saturday, September 3 will be accompanied by freestyle RnB, Swing, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Twist beats from DJs Pueblo Franco and Mighty Scoop, while on Sunday, September 4, the inimitable DJ Bkas will be on the decks.

Audiences viewing the D’Avila Moat matches will enjoy basketball clashes in the following seven categories:
