From August 1 to 8, the Limassol old town, Ceronia Hall – Lanitis Carob Mill specifically, will fill with some of the most celebrated documentaries of the year. A week of screenings will entertain filmmakers and lovers of the moving image.

Proposing a dynamic and diversified programme of more than 20 award-winning creative documentary titles from all parts of the world, alongside debut films by first-time directors, the festival invites audiences to enticing encounters with the cinema of the real.

The Lemesos International Documentary Festival places the citizen in the spotlight, exploring the ever-changing environment that surrounds them, and shedding light on diverse, burning societal and political issues, delving into the recent history of mankind. Moreover, all of the films are Cyprus premieres. Alongside the film screenings, the festival will welcome an array of guests, hosting Q&A sessions, music events, DJ sets and open-air parties for a true summer vibe, right where cinema intersects with reality.
