The event will begin with a special fireside chat on January 18, 6pm, at the UNIC Auditorium (Cine Studio), featuring the CEO of UNIC and head of UBRI (University Blockchain Research Initiative). This exclusive session will set the stage for the hackathon, offering insights into the future of finance, blockchain technology, and the collaborative efforts between UNIC and Ripple. Following the fireside chat, the next two days will be filled with engaging workshops and the XRPL hackathon. Participants will explore topics such as Web3, NFTs, smart contracts, and the intricacies of the XRP Ledger (XRPL). Competitors stand a chance to win impressive prizes, with the first-place team receiving $5,000 in XRP. The second- and third-place teams will be awarded $3,500 and $2,000 in XRP, respectively, and the best project for social good will receive $1,500 in XRP.
