Nissan and superhero Flash promote e-POWER technology

Η nissan e power technology the flash

One in three Nissan Qashqai and X-Trail sold in Spain already feature e-POWER.

Nissan has joined the communication campaign for the latest Flash film, recently released in Spain. The Japanese brand has been the first to ensure that we can all drive an extraordinary power: the e-POWER.

Just as Flash is unique in his way of getting around, so is Nissan’s new e-POWER technology. The two share extraordinary power. Which is that e-POWER achieves, for the first and only time in the market, driving electrically with no need for plugs.

e-POWER represents the perfect alternative towards the transition to a 100 per cent electric vehicle, because it offers the pleasure of 100 per cent electric driving, with greater control, stability and silence, but without the autonomy limits characteristic of electric vehicles. e-POWER recharges with gasoline and moves with electricity. And that provides an electric range of up to 1,000 km. Plus, it provides plenty of power, with a quick start and smooth, linear acceleration. If Flash had to ride in a vehicle it would be a Nissan Qashqai or X-Trail with e-POWER technology.

In fact, the Spanish market also works a bit like the superhero Flash, it moves fast – and today, one out of every three Qashqai and X-Trail sold in Spain are already e-POWER.

Nissan Qashqai e-POWER

The Nissan Qashqai is built for urban environments, with aerodynamic bodywork with a bold silhouette, sharp LED lights and massive 51cm (20″) alloy wheels. It’s the third generation of a legend that, like Flash, first hit the market for invent the crossover segment.

Nissan X-trail e-POWER

For its part, the Nissan X-Trail is the Crossover perfect for family adventures. With a robust and sophisticated design, space for up to seven seats, and absolute control with the e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system to master the most difficult terrain in total comfort.

Nissan has two production centers in Spain: in Ávila, where it manufactures components for the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance plants, and in Los Corrales de Buelna (Cantabria), where it produces parts for Nissan models such as the Qashqai or the Juke and for other industrial customers. It also has an R&D centre for the whole of Europe based in Barcelona, a city where the commercial headquarters are located for Spain and Portugal, countries in which Nissan leads in electric mobility.
