Ayia Napa Marina: Carnival samba, zumba and surprises!

When it comes to Famagusta –and most specifically to Ayia Napa– the heart of carnival season beats at Ayia Napa Marina, with many surprises and fun activities to get everyone in a party mood. This year, on Saturday, March 16, from 2-5pm, the Marina will throw a fun-tastic carnival party, filled with music, dancing, and various games for all ages.

So, prepare to put on your carnival costume, get into your best mood and head over to Ayia Napa Marina for a crazy blow-out bash, complete with Live link, DJs, Brazilian dancers and spectacular shows – not to mention, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, who will be there to delight our little friends! What’s more, Disney’s famous duo isn’t the only surprise in store, as many kid-friendly activities, such as face-painting, balloon crafts and group games, also await!

Carnival at Ayia Napa Marina has become a calendar staple, and this year the festivities are bigger and more exciting than ever. The 2024 programme includes:

• Live link from 12-2pm.
• DJs on decks, ready to get you into the groove with classic carnival and dance hits.
• Face-painting, balloon crafts, group games, and other creative activities for little ones. These will take place in specially-designated areas, supervised by the Marina’s expert staff.
• An appearance from Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The lovable pair will visit the Marina to take pictures with kids, spread love and smiles, and create beautiful memories.
• An Afro-Brazilian gig by Batukinio, a renowned percussion band, to get you moving in the rhythm of Samba Batucada and Samba Reggae.
• A Latino Show by RC Beautydolls, with Brazilian male and female dancers. An impressive Latin spectacle, full of passion and energy, bringing Rio de Janeiro’s vibe to Ayia Napa Marina.
• A Zumba Kids Dance Party, where little ones will have the chance to combine fun with fitness.
• A Handstand Extravaganza: one-of-a-kind acrobatics by dancers using only their hands for balance.

As always, you can also enjoy a delicious meal or a refreshing drink at one of Ayia Napa Marina’s many restaurants and coffee shops.
