PwC Cyprus’ partners honoured Evgenios Evgeniou for his decade-long contribution as CEO of the organisation, in a simple and modest event due to the exceptional circumstances created by the pandemic. The event was held at PwC Cyprus’ Nicosia offices on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. On December 31, 2021, following 10 successful years, Evgeniou will have completed two terms as CEO of the organisation – the maximum number of times an individual can hold the position at PwC.

For his part, Philippos Soseilos, who will be taking over as PwC Cyprus CEO on January 1, 2022, thanked his predecessor on behalf of the organisation’s partners and people, highlighting Evgeniou’s significant contribution to the organisation’s achievements over the past decade.

Soseilos stressed that: “Mr. Evgeniou took over the reins of the organisation at a particularly difficult time, while, throughout the years, he handled a series of challenges and changes with absolute success.”

The incoming PwC Cyprus chief assured that the organisation will maintain its successful trajectory, remaining faithful to its purpose of building trust in society and solving important problems.

In turn, outgoing CEO Evgeniou thanked everyone for their good cooperation throughout his 10-year term at the helm of the organisation, as well as during his 31 years at PwC. He pledged his ongoing support to the organisation and its people, expressing his conviction that PwC Cyprus will continue to help create conditions of economic prosperity for the country.

Evgeniou also expressed his great satisfaction and pride at the organisation’s achievements throughout his 10-year term. “Over the past decade, despite the challenging conditions, our organisation grew twice as fast as the country’s economy,” he noted.

“During the course of this decade, the organisation managed to establish its leading position in the market, while at the same time developing a new range of services and evolving into the dynamic and innovative organisation that it is today.”
