The Pancyprian Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF) now accepts donations through Ourbeloved.cy, a portal created to share funeral announcements and provide support to bereaved families.

Through the newly-created portal, Cypriots from across the world can honour the lives of friends and family who have passed, as well as make donations to the family or charities in memory of the deceased.

As a charity registered on the platform, PASYKAF can now receive donations through OurBeloved, in addition to donations submitted through the association’s website.

OurBeloved provides an “additional source of financial support” by overcoming geographical limitations and increasing efficiency and cost savings while transactions are “transparent and fully automated”, the website reads.

This allows “valuable volunteer resources to be freed and to focus on their main objectives which are to help and support people in need,” it adds.

PASYKAF, established in Cyprus 1986, provides a number of services to cancer patients and their families including home palliative care, social and psychological support while it also operates prevention programmes.
